This is something I dreamed about last night, a sorta "What if" scenario, I guess, involving our Phoenix Rising plot. The dream was so clear and vivid that I had to write it down.. Pluu it gave me something to do at work this morning, to keep me from being driven insane by having to listen to Veggie Tales ;D Anywho.. Though I'd share ;D
What if...
She moaned as he suckled at the wound on her neck, his sharp canines digging deeper into warm, unyielding flesh. He gripped her shoulders hard, pressing her bare back against the cool stone wall, his body molding against hers. She grabbed handfulls of his long hair trying to pull him closer to her. He pushed against her harder and harder until...
Raven bolted upright in bed, gasping for breath, her body covered in sweat. Her stomach roiled, as she stumbled out of bed and ran to the bathroom as quickly as her feet could carry her. She made it to the toilet just in time, as she fell to her knees and retched out last nights dinner. After a few dry heaves for good measure, she layed there, her head resting on the cool porcelin, wishing at the moment that she was dead.
As she sat there on the floor, she heard a door slowly creak open and soft padded footsteps coming in her direction. A blonde head poked into the bathroom door.
"Raven.. Are you okay?" Raven looked up to see a worried looking Draco, his pale hair tossled from sleep. She forced a smiled on her face and slowly stood up.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she managed to say, once she was sure her stomach wouldn't retaliate again. "Just a touch of the Stomach Flu."
Draco gave her a look that clearly said that he didn't belive her.
"Really I'm ok," she said, with a more genuine smile. She affectionally ruffled his hair. "Go back to sleep."
"Okay.." he relented, but still looked skeptical. He gave her a tentative hug and went back to his room.
Raven sighed. He was a good kid. She was glad that she offered to be his guardian. He had been through so much, and didn't have anywhere to go. She had made arangements with Albus to move into new quarters, where Draco could stay with her, till the school year started and he could be resorted into a house.
Raven's stomach rolled again but she managed to will the feeling of nausea away. She turned to the sink rinsed the bile out of her mouth, and brushed her teeth.
'Well another night of sleep shot to hell,' she thought to herself, as she wandered back to her room. Maybe she could get some Katas done to get her mind off of things... A pair of glowing green eye greeted her as soon as she entered her room. She smiled and gathered Thorne into her arms. He butted his head against her chin and purred softly.
this is the fourth time this week you've done this, he sent into her mind.
I know, she sent back. Maybe this was nerves? The school year was drawing closer, and she never taught before. Yes, thats what it was.. She was just nervous about teaching..
you know thats not what it is... you know that you think you might be-
"No-" Raven cut in, not allowing him to finish the thought. "It's not possible. So just drop it."
Thorne sighed over their mental connection. baka girl.. you are so stubborn.... you know you have doubts.. just go to that pomfrey lady... you could find out for sure..
Raven laughed, it was a dark mirthless sound.
Yeah, right.. What am I supposed to tell her? "Oh Madame Pomfrey, you see I was in this alternate demention, where me and Professor Snape were connected by a slave collar that forced my emotions on him, and I let my lust get the better of me, and to make a long story short, I think he may of knocked me up.." Raven put Thorne down on the bed and began to pace. No.. One thing I remeber about my days at Hogwarts, nothing stays a secrect here for long. Imagine the kind of damage this could cause if it's just a false alarm? I'll find out my own way.. Then I'll decide what to do.
are you going to tell him? The Draven cat asked quietly.
"I don't know," she murmmered. 'He's been avoiding me ever since we came back', she thought to herself as a sharp stab of pain lanced her heart, 'he can't even bear to look at me...'
i told you, you should have told him how you felt..
"Shut up..." she hissed in irritation as she rubbed her temples, trying to clean her mind.. There was a way to find out what was going on with her without letting anyone here at the school know..
She turned to her closet and began making preperations.
