NOT ABOUT THE BOOK OR MOVIE OR ANYTHING
This game was inspired by the book, but actually has nothing to do with it at all. The Rules are simple: Someone makes up a short story. The next person must then take an element of the story (or one of the previous stories) -A character, a place. an event or whatever- and write their own story about it. In this way, we can build an entire world.
Here's an example:
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named little red riding hood. She lived with her mother, and one day her mother asked her to bring some cakes to grandma. She of course, agreed, but her mother warned her to stay on the path.
While on her way to grandmas, she saw some lovely flowers, But her mother said to stay on the path, so she kept walking.
A while later, she met a wolf and the wolf said what a lovely day it was and why she didn't stop for a while and pck some flowers. Red riding hood told him about her mother's rule. But the wolf pointed out how very nice the flowers were and how much her grandmother would like them. Little Red Riding Hood thought that a few moments couldn't hurt, so she stopped to pick some flowers.
The wolf raced off in the direction of Grandma's house, he wanted to get there be for Red Riding Hood. And he did. When he got there, he pretended to be little Red Riding Hood and swallowed Granma in one bite.
When Little Red Riding hood got there, he was ready for her. He had on Grandma's clothes and nightcap and glasses.
"Grandma! What big eyes you have!"
"The better to see you, my dear!"
"Grandma, What big ears you have!"
"The better to hear you, my dear!"
"Grandma! What big teeth you have!"
"The better to eat you, my dear!"
And the Wolf swallowed her right up.
--------------------------------------------------
Now the next person might now do something concerning the wolf. Or maybe his past, or his future. Or maybe it might have something to do with Little Red's poor mother after finding out her child is gone. Or maybe it's got something to do with Grandma when she was younger, or perhaps it has to do with the forest Little Red Riding hood had to cross. Or the town Little Red lived in, or why her grandma lived so far away. or... Anyway, you've got the idea... ^_^
BTW... Don't start with Little Red Riding Hood....lol.. that was just an example... I'll probably post a story up in a bit, if no one else comes up with anything...
Also, no using characters that would be considered works of other people. (however anything in the public domain is fine) That disqualifies any 'fanfiction' type thing... It would be fun if we all used our imaginations.
