Proposal, mostly the history of the Operwelt (and particularly the British Empire) to 1922:
1741- The Bavarian Wittelsbachs, including Holy Roman Emperor Charles VII, are slaughtered by a Serbian and Croatian army during the sack of Munich in the War of the Austrian Succession.
1748- Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle confirms Franz Xaver, son of Augustus III of Saxony as the new Elector of Bavaria. Bavaria passes to the Wettin Dynasty.
1777- American Colonial Revolt suppressed by British at the Battle of New York
1815- Napoleon defeated, France is pacified. Both French and Dutch maritime Empires pass to Britain.
1837- Queen Victoria succeeds to the British Throne.
1857- Indian Mutiny suppressed. Victoria assumes the title of Empress of Britain and the Seas.
1866- Austro-Prussian War ends inconclusively due to intervention of Hanover and British Empire.
1869- First appearance of the Swan King in Bavaria.
1870- Swan King Ludwig mediates dispute between Austria and Prussia. The Holy Roman Empire is restored under the leadership of the Swan King, centered on the Herreninsel.
1878- George V of Hanover dies. Empress Victoria attempts to succeed, Ludwig objects in favor of George's son, Ernest Augustus. Beginning of the War of the Hanoverian Succession.
1880- British defeated by Ludwig's army at Battle of Hamburg. Ludwig proclaimed heredity Emperor of all the German principalities.Ludwig marries Archduchess Gisela of Austria.
1885- Beginning of the Great War. Russia goes to war with Ludwig over the Balkans. Britain and the Netherlands ally with Russia and attack Ludwig's Empire.
1886- Ludwig disappears without explanation and without heirs. The German armies crumble and Ludwig's Empire is defeated. Britain annexes Hanover and dissolves the Empire. German states subject to Allied Occupation.
1890- Third Afghan War between Britain and Russia. Conflict spreads to Europe. Ends in a stalemate, but Britain annexes the Netherlands.
1898- War of the Seas. Britain intervenes in the Spanish-Mexican War and takes control ofCalifornia, the Spanish maritime Empire, most remaining unclaimed territory in the Pacific, and establishes a protectorate over Japan.
1904- Anglo-Russian War. A Japanese attack on Russia in the Far East is followed by British assaults into the Tsar's territory in Central Asia.
1905- British airships bomb St. Petersburg. Russian government collapses in revolution. British hegemony secured in Europe, North America, and South Central Asia.
1920- Anglo-Japanese War. Empire of Japan briefly seizes British posessions in Southeas Asia. Singapore razed.
1921- Beginning of the Long Blockade. Britain succeeds in recovering its occupied Pacific territories. Royal Navy bombards Japanese coastal cities for a hundred days, Marines begin seizing outlying Japanese islands. Japanese ports are put under indefinite blockade.
1922- British Empire is unchallenged for control of global maritime trade routes. Newport Patent Office begins to see dramatic decline in registered inventions and will declare the end of the Industrial Revolution in 1930.
