Just a harebrained idea I had...it's sort of a cross between dungeons and dragons and a standard computer RPG. I've always wanted to make a game, but I just can't seem to get my head around the actual programming part of it. So I thought, essentially, what the computer does in a standard computer RPG is keep track of stats, generate random numbers and check to see if certain tasks have been completed, so I thought, why can't a person do that? Of course it has it's drawbacks, it's all too easy to cheat. a person could easily look ahead or say they have something they don't etc etc... and of course it puts the burden on the player to compute and keep track of everything the computer would've. (not to mention the lack of graphics. No eyecandy! [actually I have an idea about that, but knowing me, I won't get to that XD]). But I thought I'd try it anyway, see if it was fun... or even feasable. To play this game, you will need: - a text file. - A browser, preferably one with tabs for ease of use. - Dice, or a dice rolling applet ( www.irony.com/igroll.html ) - A calculator may be desirable also (espeically if you're bad a computation like me >_<) - A media player (not really necessary just yet.)
