Tonsillitis is fun... NOT!

Woke up this morning from the blinding pain that shot thru my throat when I tried to swallow. So I called the doc and went in and it seems that my right tonsil is swollen and in the early stages of Tonsillitis. He gave me penicillin and this stuff called Viscous Lidocaine which is supposed to help with the pain. I'm supposed to gargle with the Lidocaine (Which has the consistency of snot) and I can't figure out how to gargle it, and I just ended up making all of my mouth numb except for the part that hurts Kill me now.. Please?

Maybe you're supposed to thin out the Lidocaine with water or something to make it easier to gargle? Hmmm...

Ugh you poor thing... I used to get Tonsilitis a lot when I was younger, it's definitely not fun at all... Get better soon!
