Gah, I'll probably never finish this story, but I really like this part XDD
at this point, all the sins are human . . also this was written way before the manga really revealed Father's nature, so I'd sort of filled in anime stuff to fill in the blanks. . .
Sins of the Father

"What are you all, freaking morons!? Why the hell would you want to be human!? Godammit I'm gone for what? a year? And you guys go and fuck everything up!," Greed seized a nearby vase and threw it at Envy's head. Envy cringed and it missed, smashing against the wall.
"No... you shouldn't be here....," Envy backed into a coffee table, "You were dead... I saw you die."
"I guess Father didn't tell you about his little side projects, did he? He was bringing me back. Better than ever, and you bastards had to ruin everything! I can just feel this inferior body rotting around me!"
"He didn't..... That's not possible..."
"Oh isn't it? What about you, Lust? You think you're the first, do you? Well your not. You're just the first Lust to be a stupid enough ho to listen to these assholes, or was it just the Ultimate Asshole, eh Wrath? Did our brave Fuhrer lead us down this path of destruction?"
Frightened, Mrs. Bradley clung to her husband, "What's he talking about, King? Who is he?"
"Oh the little lady doesn't know, does she?" Greed leered evilly at Bradley and his wife. It was strange seeing him grin with normal human teeth, and if possible, it made him look crazier.
"Greed, don't do this..." Bradley said somewhere between a plea and a warning.
"Well Mrs. Bradley, allow me to inform you that-"
"Greed-"
"your 'husband' wasn't born, he was made in a laboratory. Designed by Hohenheim Elric to play this country and everyone in it like a fiddle. Yes, including you. His love for you? Designed to make him look good, like a real charmer, with a little wifey on his arm. I bet even while he was screwing you, he was thinking about how having a kid would make him look more human-" Greed reeled backwards as Bradley's fist came into contact with his face.
"You do not insult my family that way."
"Truth's a bitch, ain't it pops?" Greed laughed, peering, fascinated at the red blood issuing from his nose, "You know, maybe your right... I mean, how would you know if the way you feel is real or not? You were built, same as me- ohf!" Envy's foot came into contact with Greed's stomach.
"We're human. We were born, you little shit, not built."
"Live in Lala land all you want to, sister, we're still created humans."
"Call me a girl one more time and I'll wipe that grin off of your smug, bastard face."

"Father! Father, look what-"
"Go to your room, Salem. Now!" Bradley said fiercly.
"But I just wanted to-" Greed reached out a long arm and caught the boy up. Mrs. Bradley screamed.
"This must be your little squirt, eh Wrath?"
Bradley drew his gun, pointing it at Greed, "Put down the boy, Greed, I'm warning you." Bradley's hand shook with rage and fear.
"Go ahead and shoot me, with your one friggin' eye! What if you miss, Fuhrer Depth-Perception? You don't know what will happen if you pull the trigger...The bullet could hit me and I'd die. Our problems would be over...or it could hit the brat here. You don't know because you wanted to be human. And you know, I don't think half-homuncli have powers of regeneration, but why don't we find out?" Greed leered at Wrath, who stood motionless, "What's the matter? Can't make a descision without your magic eight ball? I guess you'll have to throw your lot in with God, now that you have a soul and all." Still, Bradley didn't move. Everything Greed said was true, he'd been so used to knowing the results of all possible actions. He couldn't make decisions like a human, guessing was out of the question. For the first time, he was at a loss.
Greed tousled Salem's hair, "hey kiddo, your pops ever tell you why he don't want you doing alchemy?"
Bradley cocked the gun, but Greed continued, heedless, "It's 'cause you can't. You'd need a soul for that. And sorry, you're just shit outta luck. You die, that's it. Poof, you're history. And your dad killed the only guy who can bring you back, So don't believe what they tell you in the churches. It don't apply to little freaks like you, 'cause God doesn't want you."
"You're a liar!" Salem shouted and struggled against Greed's arms, "My father said I can do anything if I set my mind to it! I can do alchemy! I can!"
"Hehe, keep telling yourself that kid, maybe the blue fairy'll come and make you a real boy."
"Whatever it is you want. It doesn't involve my son, so let him go."
"You still don't get it... I'm Greed. I - want. Period. End of sentence."
"You're not Greed anymore... you're a huma-"
"NO!" Greed shouted like a child in the stride of a tantrum, "I am Greed! Greed is what I am! That is me! It always will me me! Soul or no soul, I'm greedy! I want power! I want fame! I want money! I want women! I want immortality!" Greed took a moment to calm himself, "And right now I'm thinkin' I might want a little squirt of my own. You know, until something better comes along."
"Tell me what you really want."
"I already told you what I want...or rather I told you what I don't want, and that's that friggin bastard Hohenheim's soul. Make me a homunculus again, and I'll let the kid go. Hey, I got an idea. You want a soul. I got one I don't want. I'll make a deal with you, kid... you can have my soul. Then you can alchemize stuff 'till your ass falls off...sound good to you?"
Bradley lowered his weapon a few inches, "Are you being serious?"
Greed shrugged, "Hell, whatever gets me what I want, yeah sure."
"Equivalent Exchange, as the alchemists say. I use my resources to remove your soul and bind it to Salem, you become a homunculus again. Do we have a deal?"
"Yeah sure, whatever."
"Alright...now let the boy go."
"Hell no! I'm greedy but not stupid. I've read this one; I let the kid go, you shoot me. No, the kid's coming with me." Greed tucked Salem under an arm and bounded towards a nearby window. "You know what else kid? See that nancy-boy there? He killed your hero, Fullmetal." Envy attempted to kick Greed in the head, but only managed to hit the window, spraying glass everywhere.
Salem screamed as the two were showered with glass."Father! Mother!"
"Thanks a lot sis...makes my escape easier." And Greed backed through the window with Salem.
"Aww fuck I hate this human body!" Greed cursed as he stepped on a shard of glass, slicing his foot.

"Well, I think we know where all the asshole parts of Hohenheim went."
"Shut up, Envy."
No one said anything for a long time. Bradley sat with his head in one hand and the other around his wife, who was crying into his shoulder.
"What if he's right?" Envy brought up the question that was on everyone's mind.
"What are you talking about?"
"What if we made a mistake becoming human. I mean look at us." He put his bruised foot right on the table, "We're a mess."
"And what if... what if it was just what Hohenheim wanted us to want, so we'd work to make a Stone for him? ."
"Shut up, Envy."
"You shut up, Lust. Maybe Hohenheim never intended to make us human at all. Just... destroy us when he got what he wanted"
"Hohenheim is gone," Lust snarled, "so let it go."
"I can't let it go!" Envy slammed his fist down on the table, "Dammit what if Greed is right?"
"You can't honestly want to be a homunculus again!?"
"I don't know!" Envy pulled at his hair, "I just know I'm not happy like this."
"You weren't happy before either."
"I know," Envy said miserably.
