[Flashback to a dark house somewhere in England. A dark house that is also on fire.]
Harry Potter: Stand back, Voldemort, I know that baby is your last Horcrux!
Voldemort: Actually, you're wrong, go ahead and kill it.
Harry Potter: [raises his wand]
Voldemort: Or wait, crap, I actually need it's blood for my next spell, so if you'd just hold on a moment--
Harry Potter: Avada Kedavra!
Voldemort: Damnit. [dies]
Harry Potter: Your turn, child of evil. Avada Kedavra!
Curse: [rebounds]
Harry Potter: Damnit, you'd think of all people I'd have expected that. [dies]

Scene the First: The Boy Who Lived
A dark street in a neighborhood somewhere in England. An unfamiliar dark-haired man approaches a rat waiting on a fence post.
Snape: Fancy seeing you here, Wormtail.
Rat: [transforms into Peter Pettigrew] Is this really a good idea? What if one of the muggles sees?
Snape: They won't. I introduced a potion into the local water supply that should have them all blinded by now.
Wormtail: [looks nervous]
Snape: We can do as we please now, a little fun at their expense is nothing now. And we've had so little fun for sixteen years.
Wormtail: Is it true what they're saying then? That Potter killed the Dark Lord, but couldn't-- he couldn't--
Snape: Yes. The wretched boy's finally dead. Ah, here's our man.
Macnair: [lands a giant motorcycle with a unicorn skull attached to the front] I've got him, sir!
Snape: You're late. [takes a small blanket-wrapped baby from Macnair]
Macnair: Sorry. Ran across a flock of swans on the way over and I got a little carried away.
Snape: [mutters] Off with you, then. I've got work to do.
Macnair: [suppressing tears] Can... can I say goodbye to him?
Snape: No. Go kill some leprechauns or something.
Macnair: [flies off, sobbing]
Snape: [to Wormtail] And you scurry off too. I've got a boy and an antidote to deliver to some muggles. Wizards everywhere will be toasting his name before long, that or screaming in agony, and I don't intend to let them forget who's in charge now.
