Plant Life Stages:
Seed - if conditions are right for this plant, go to next life stage, if not, delete seed and turn it into nutrients, or go dormant until conditions are met, if conditions are not met in a set amount of time, then delete seed and convert it to soil nutrients
young plant - if conditions are still right, go to adult plant, if not, go to dying plant
flowering plant - if conditions are right, and plant is pollinated go to fruiting plant, if not, go to adult plant, if conditions are not right, go to dying plant (there are two kinds of plants, ones which require a mate and ones which are self pollinating, self-pollinating plants will determine whether they've been fertilized by a ratio, male plants will, at this stage produce pollen which will be spread in a certain radius from the plant and if it happens to come across a female of the same species, then the plant will go to a set ratio, like then self-pollinating plant)
fruiting plant - if conditions are right, drop fruit onto neigboring tiles from 1 to 8 pieces depending on temperature and moisture, then go to adult plant if conditions for fruitbearing are not met. If conditions are not met to satisfy the mother plant, then go to dying plant and drop no fruit
adult plant - if conditions are right, stay in this form until next life stage, if the conditions are not right, and the plant is discidious move to dormant lifestage
dormant plant - stay in dormant life stage until conditions are met, then go to adult lifestage for a set number of cycles, when number of cycles is completed go to old plant lifestage
old plant - old plants no longer flower or produce fruit, they stay old plants until a set number of cycles is completed then move to dying plant stage
dying plant- when a set number of cycles is completed then the plant dies and is converted into nutrients
at each lifestage, some nutrients are taken from the soil
