This is what flashed through my mind as I watched Bluebird's Illusions opening sequence. . .this came to me in the form of a game . . but I think it'd make a great story. ::wishes she knew how to program::
Fullmetal Alchemist: A Father's Sin
After losing consciousness during a battle with Father, Ed wakes up in the hospital along with Al, neither of them having any idea of how they got there. Turns out Hohenheim is back. Ed, however, refuses to tell Hohenheim anything about how he got to Father's 'House'. But instead demand to know why he looks like the leader of the homunculi. Hohenheim refuses to tell him anything.
In an effort to keep a closer eye on Edward and Alphonse. Edward is assigned a post at the Fuhrer's Estate. Meanwhile Roy, his group disbanded, tries to figure out what to do about the Fuhrer. Meanwhile, Ed is doing the same thing. In the meantime, Salem is overjoyed that the Tiny Alchemist is staying with them and begs Ed to teach him alchemy, which Ed does in between figuring out what to do. Ed finds an ally in PA!Hawkeye [stuff happens] Also Bradley gets totally ticked Ed is teaching Salem Alchemy
Meanwhile Hohenheim has gone off to attend to matters in the north. Ed escapes from lockdown at the Fuhrer's and heads north.
[Majority of plot stuff happens in the north where Ed figures out that in order to defeat Father, he has to defeat all the Sins] Meanwhile ed has to be careful because the military is looking for him. {Hoho already knew this, but was kind of stalling because he feels like something bad will happen to him when Father is defeated )
stuff stuff stuff
...until each of the homunculi are defeated except for Wrath and the lost pstone which Father was able to recover.
The final battle in Father's Lair, his plan is almsot complete, but Ed, Al and Hohenheim still have to defeat Father, who is going to implant the recovered pstone into Salem. This actually has an effect on Wrath, who sees himself in Salem, and doesn't want him to become like him. He gets Ed to defeat him, giveing Ed, Al and Hohenheim to defeat father.
Only thing Ed and Al don't know is that this does something to Hohenheim as well, and by this time Hoho and Ed have bonded so it's all emotional and stuff. . . (not sure if hoho would die right away , but I'd hope he'd have time to restore Ed and Al's bodies . . . and stuff )
